DOLCE Eau de Perfume
Dolce & Gabbana
DOLCE Eau de Perfume for Women
The beauty of Sicily and its gardens, covered with a refreshing white sea of flowers, are sources of inspiration for the distinctly feminine scent. With a mix of glamor, nostalgia and modernity, Dolce presents itself as a timeless eau de parfum in a beautiful bottle with a closure that is reminiscent of the artful marzipan flowers in the shop windows of Sicilian pastry shops.
Radiant and explosive, Dolce announces itself with a sweet, yet refined top note made of neroli and papaya flowers. The heart note is determined by lush, white amaryllis, which is used for the first time in perfumery. Their fragrance is obtained in a process that requires a similarly admirable craftsmanship as an artistic embroidery. In the base note, Dolce leaves a sensuously soft aftertaste that leaves a lasting impression with musk and cashmeran.
Dolce&Gabanna is an Italian luxury fashion house founded in 1985 by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Dolce&Gabbana offers to clothe under two brands: Dolce&Gabbana (officially spelt with no spaces), which focuses on luxury clothing, eyewear, accessories and perfumes; and D&G, a more casual and contemporary line of clothing, watches, and fragrances. Both lines utilize the recognizable "D&G" logo on many of their products.
Dolce&Gabbana's first fragrance, named simply Dolce&Gabbana for Women, was launched in 1992. A men's version followed in 1994. The brand launched a series of fragrances over the year, with their Light Blue fragrances for men and women being among their most successful.
The D&G line launched the Anthology series of fragrances in 2009, inspired by tarot cards and advertised by some of the fashion world's most famous faces.
